Frequently Asked Questions

Cola works with Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 and later versions on macOS.

Credits are used for AI-powered features: Auto AI Reels (1 credit/min), Solo Multicam (1 credit/min), and AI Captions (1 credit/min). Manual Reels, Podcast Multicam, Auto-Center Faces, and Remove Silences are all free and unlimited.

Cola's AI analyzes your audio to find: strong hooks in the first 3 seconds, complete standalone thoughts, emotional moments (funny, inspiring, controversial), quotable phrases, and high energy delivery.

Podcast mode supports up to 10 speakers. Multiple speakers can share the same camera if needed. You can also configure a wide shot for cross-talk moments.

Captions include: casing options (Normal, ALL CAPS, lowercase, Title Case), punctuation toggle, break at sentences, remove silences, custom highlight colors, and multiple caption styles. You can preview how captions appear on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube before exporting.

You can export captions as SRT files, add them as native Premiere Pro SRT captions, or use MOGRT graphics that appear on your video track with custom highlight colors.

Auto-Center Faces automatically detects and centers faces in the vertical 9:16 frame when creating reels. This ensures your subject stays in frame without manual adjustment. It's free on all plans.

Yes! Cola automatically creates a backup of your sequence before making any edits. Your original media files are never modified - we only work with the Premiere Pro timeline.

First, verify debug mode is enabled. On macOS, run defaults read com.adobe.CSXS.11 PlayerDebugMode in Terminal - it should return 1. Also check the extension is in the correct folder: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/. After verifying, restart Premiere Pro completely.

Make sure you have a sequence open and selected in the timeline before using Cola. Click on the timeline panel to ensure it's active, then try again.

Check your internet connection first. Verify you have sufficient credits in your account. For very long sequences, try processing a shorter segment first. If problems persist, our AI servers may be experiencing high load - try again in a few minutes.
